My Body

Description: The students will learn new vocabulary about the body.
Goals: the students will be able to recognize every part f the body and its name.
Materials: white board

Groups of students
Procedure: This activity is thought to be done with 4 groups of students in the class. The teacher will give some flashcards with different parts of the body to the groups, and then the students will have to go to the whiteboard to write the part of the body that another member of his/her group spells him/her. In this activity we can find the receptive skill listening and the productive skill that is writing. As we can see here a student says the word and the other student writes.
Finally, the group that has more correct words will win the activity. This way the student will learn vocabulary about the body in an easy and funny way.
“Holiday trip”

Topic: “Go on a holiday trip”
Description: The students will learn vocabulary about places and how to debate.
Goals: The students will be able to resolve a problem with a group conclusion.
Duration: 90 minutes.
Materials:
· White board.
· Role cards.
· Black and red markers.
· Copybook.
· Pen.
· Pencils.
Procedure: This activity is thought to be done in groups. As an icebreaking activity the teacher will talk about some places to go on a holiday trip. Then the teacher will form groups of four people, and the teacher will give the role cards to each student in this way the students will recognize their role in the activity. Next, the teacher will explain the activity itself. Then, the students will prepare their argument to debate. The students will have some minutes to think about their argument. Finally there will be a debate in which the students have to come to a conclusion for the problem.
Closure: To finish the lesson the teacher will ask again the conclusion of each group.
Assessment: The teacher will evaluate this activity according to the level of English that students use in their arguments.
“ Karaoke Time”

Description: The students will sing a karaoke and will identify the words that are missing in the song.
Goals: The students will be able to improve their listening skills.
Duration: 30 minutes.
Materials:
- Pencils
- White board
- Power point.
- Karaoke machine.
Procedure: This activity is thought to be all class. As an icebreaking activity the teacher will talk about the history of karaoke’s machine and asking some question to children like. Do you like karaoke? Have you ever gone to a karaoke? Then, the teacher will play the song and everybody has to listening to it. Later the teacher will put the karaoke of the song and this time students will have to sing.
Closure: To finish the lesson the teacher will give an activity in which students have to complete the words that are missing in the karaoke song.
Assessment: The teacher will evaluate this activity depending on the enthusiasm that students have at the moment of sing the song.
